FULL DAY PRESCHOOL FOR 2, 3 & 4 YEARS OLD

PreSchool Programs: Ages 3 to 4

Our preschool program reinforces the importance of independence and engaging in learning centers. They will be introduced to new hands-on activities that deal with language, math, science and social skills as their world begins to expand.

Preschool 3-year-old program

Welcome to our preschool program for 3-year-olds! We believe that early childhood is a crucial time for learning and development, and our program is designed to meet the specific needs of children in this age group.

At our preschool, we focus on creating a positive and engaging learning environment where children can explore, discover, and interact with their surroundings. Our hands-on learning centers provide opportunities for children to learn through play, fostering their curiosity and imagination.

In Language Arts, we encourage children to listen to others and follow simple directions, such as lining up. We also emphasize building vocabulary by engaging in conversations with the child and supporting their speech development by encouraging them to express themselves.

In Math, we introduce the concept of counting to 5 through various activities, such as counting kids, objects, snacks, and songs with numbers. Additionally, we support their cognitive development by introducing puzzles with 6 or 7 pieces, promoting problem-solving skills.

Socialization plays a vital role in our program. We help children transition from playing next to each other to playing with others, encouraging social interactions and cooperation. We also foster empathy by introducing the idea that others have feelings, nurturing a sense of compassion and understanding.

Emotional development is nurtured as children begin to use words to express their needs and recognize their own emotions. We provide a supportive and caring environment where children can explore their feelings and learn healthy ways to communicate and cope.

As part of our holistic approach, we recognize the spiritual aspect of a child’s development. We help children realize that they are part of a bigger group, fostering a sense of belonging and connection.

Physical development is also important in our preschool. We encourage children to actively attend and engage in activities by providing opportunities for them to sit for 5 minutes, building their focus and concentration. We also support their fine motor skills by introducing pencil grasp through various activities.

In addition to our core curriculum, we are excited to offer two specialized programs at our preschool: a Greek language program and a theater/fine arts program. These programs are designed to enhance your child’s learning experience and provide them with additional opportunities for growth and development.

Our Greek language program introduces children to the beauty and richness of the Greek language and culture. Through engaging activities, songs, and games, children will learn basic Greek vocabulary, phrases, and expressions. This program aims to foster an appreciation for different cultures and languages, while also promoting cognitive development and language skills.

The theater/fine arts program at our preschool is designed to ignite your child’s creativity and imagination. Through various art activities, drama games, and performances, children will have the opportunity to explore different forms of artistic expression. This program encourages self-expression, confidence building, and teamwork, while also nurturing a love for the arts.

Both of these programs are integrated into our daily schedule, allowing children to participate and engage in these enriching experiences alongside our core curriculum. We believe that these specialized programs will provide your child with a well-rounded and holistic educational experience, fostering their intellectual, social, and emotional development.

At our preschool, we strive to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive and develop a love for learning. We look forward to partnering with you in your child’s educational journey.
